On Our Way Home!

Phyllis needed to just relax after getting home! Labor can do a number on your body!

Pepper didn't know what to think about Brayden! At first he was very frightened, he was shaking like crazy because there were so many new things to adjust to. Then he starting sniffing Brayden trying to figure out what was in Phyllis' arms.

On our way home! We had to bundle up because the temperature had dropped 40 degrees from when we first arrived at the hospital.

Brayden fell right to sleep when we put him in his carrier! He must have liked how snug it was!

I know you can't see it all that well but he wore the cutest outfit home! It came with the warm hat that was perfect for the cold weather! Our friends the Finefrock's gave us the adorable outfit!

Jason was such a trooper! He slept in this recliner for three nights and didn't complain at all! What a wonderful husband!

This is Connie! She was our favorite nurse in Labor and Delivery! She did a great job helping me and taking care of Brayden! She was a huge help and answered lots of my questions!

My focal point for labor and delivery! It was an idea we got from our childbirthing class! Needless to say we couldn't put it close enough to my bed and I couldn't focus that much on it! Jason did a wonderful job coaching me through labor and delivery! I'm a blessed wife!

Our little boy's nursery!

Jason worked so hard on getting our baby boy's nursery together! He assembled all the furniture and painted the walls himself! He was so sweet and didn't make me life a finger! I got to do all the fun, froo-froo stuff! My mom helped Jason with the border! She's our resident wallpaper expert! Karen (great family friend) is custom making our little boy's bedding and it's turning out so cute! Thank you to everyone who helped us get ready for our baby boy's arrival!
